Ariana Grande is an American singer and actress who began her career in the Broadway musical before landing the role of Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon Telivision series Victorious in 2009. Here are a few things you need to know about her most recent concert.

There was a bombing after her concert

She had just finished performing at the Manchester Arena on Monnday night when a bomb went off in the foyer. 22 people including children were killed and scores were injured in the Monday night’s explosion which targetted fans as they left her concert.

Ariana flew straight back to the US after the terror attack.

She twitted that she was ‘broken ‘ and ‘so so sorry’ after the bombing.

Producer writes a letter to her to console her

Patrick Millsap, a film producer and father of three wrote a powerful open letter to Ariana after she expressed her grief over the attack at Manchester Arena.

The letter has been retwitted and liked by thousands of people including pop stars like Nicki Minaj,Taylour Swift and Miley Cyrus.

The Queen acknowledges that Ariana is a good singer

The Queen of England recently visited the victims at a Manchester children’s hospital where she said she thought Grande was a very good singer.

She was criticized by Piers Morgan

Piers Morgan criticized Ariana for flying straight home after Manchester bombing and also failing to visit her injured fans like the queen did.

Her Manager wrote a public statement to mourn those that died

Her manager Scooter Braun wrote in a public statement: We mourn the lives of children and loved ones taken by this cowardly act… We ask all of you to hold the victims, their families, and all those affected in your hearts and prayers’.

She has suspended her dangerous woman tour

Her Management confirmed that the gigs and several others would be cancelled.

They released a statement which read ‘Due to the tragic events in Manchester, the dangerous Woman tour with Ariana Grande has been suspended until we can further assess the situation and pay our proper respects to the lost. The London 02 show this week has been cancelled as well as all shows through June 5 in Switzerland’

She has pledged to return to Manchester and hold a fundraising concert

In an emotional statement on twitter, she has pledged to return to Manchester and hold a fundraisng concert.

New reports claim that this could come as soon as the 4th of June next month. To this effect, when speaking for the first time since the bombing said,’I’d be returning to the incredibly brave city of Manchester to spend time with my fans and to have a benefit concert in honour of and to raise money for the victims and their families’.
