Do you feel like you never have enough time to do things for yourself? Whether we’re talking about getting your nails done, or having the time to read a self-help book??

Most of us feel like we’re hamsters running on a wheel – our days are jammed-packed all the time, and there’s always a never-ending to-do list waiting for us. And that is a reality of life that we have to accept.

The answer to this dilemma is to find creative solutions to make sure that your time is being used effectively. And this is where podcasts come in.

If you don’t have the time to read a book, or go to a workshop, or don’t always have the time to journal your thoughts, then you can at least commit to listening to at least ONE podcast episode every week geared towards personal development.

WHY PODCASTS?

Like mentioned before, we have to find more creative ways to use our time more effectively. Even though I’m a big advocate for making sure that we have quiet time where we are just relaxing (which is something that I’m still learning how to do), I also like finding ways to maximize my time.

In other words, I like to find ways to do more than one thing at the same time…which can arguably not be a good thing at times, but for the purpose of this blog post, let’s say focus on the positive of this approach.

This is where Podcasts come in.

I’m always…and I mean ALWAYS listening to podcasts. Whether I’m commuting to work, doing chores, running errands, exercising, doing dishes … I almost *always* have a podcast on because I’m getting sh*t done while also feeding my mind.

And this is the power of podcasts. You can “accelerate” your personal development by listening to self-help podcasts and doubling up on your effectiveness and do things at the same time.

There are SO many different amazing Podcasts out there that it’s sometimes hard to keep up with all of them.

Which is why I wanted to do a roundup of my favourite podcast episodes. Some of these I listen to over and over again because they are SO inspiring and I learn something new from these episodes every time I listen to them.

The best part? He breaks down fear and how you can look at it from a different light to feel more empowered so that you can overcome it.
